What’s the difference between paying my Credit Builder Pocket and adding money?
As you spend from Credit Builder, money is subtracted from your balance and held to make an automatic on-time payment on the 25th of the month.
Automatic payments and manual payments of your Credit Builder pocket reset your used balance but do not impact your available balance. As an example, if you have $100 available and $50 used, paying your Credit Builder Pocket will reset your used balance to $0 and you will continue to have $100 available.
Adding money to your Credit Builder Pocket does not impact your used balance but does impact your available balance. As an example, if you have $100 available and $50 used, adding an additional $200 will update your available balance to $300 and keep your used balance at $50 until it is automatically repaid on the 25th or a manual payment is made.
