Objective
We allow you to connect your external bank account to your One account. One uses Plaid to securely and easily connect to most major banks. This will allow you to easily transfer funds at your convenience.
Procedure
Here are the steps to do this:
- Open the One application, or visit web.onefinance.com
- Select the "Move Money" tab at the bottom
- Select the "Add money from bank" option
- Select the "+ Add account" button
After clicking on the "+ Add account" button, you will be taken through options to sign into your external bank and select your account. Once connected you will be able to transfer funds into One at your convenience.
Manual account verification
If you cannot find your financial institution listed within Plaid, click on the ‘Link with account numbers’ button. You will be asked to enter your account and routing numbers. We will then make two deposits of less than $1 each into the account you confirmed in one business day.
Once you see the two small transfers in your external account, return to the ‘Add money from bank’ Transfer page. Select on the option to ‘Verify’ your account and enter the amount of the two deposits when prompted.
You may need to submit documentation—like a recent account statement—to help verify your ownership of that external account.
One gives you the ability to use a single source to access money from multiple financial institutions. Follow the instructions above to connect multiple banks to your One account. Once done, you’ll be able to access money you hold in multiple banks, all from a single place.
After connecting your bank account, you will be able to transfer funds into your One account.
Please note: Fund transfers may take up to 3 business days to become available in your One account.
